Just in February, In a significant shake-up for the film industry, Amazon MGM Studios gained creative control of the James Bond franchise from long-time producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, ending a family legacy that spanned over six decades. It means that all the hands-on work that Broccoli and Wilson did, all the creative control they had, all the things that made Bond so special, from casting Bond himself to story - anything you liked about Bond are now in the hands of a studio that really only exists to make you go shop online at the Amazon store. So it will be interesting to see how this pans out. I predict: hot glue gun mess.
